This all-season queen comforter is only $22

I may make a living writing about all things home, but I’ve been painfully slow when it comes to changing my sheets. So a few months ago, after years of sleeping under a mediocre blanket, I decided to invest in a new duvet. And not just any duvet—the wildly popular Bedsure duvet that my sister recommended. Since it’s basically the real-life version of the Princess and the Pea (aka the fussiest sleeper I’ve ever met), I ordered it. The low price didn’t hurt either—and it just so happens to be back on sale at Amazon. Keep scrolling to read my review.

This cozy duvet has eight loops on the sides so it can also be used as a duvet insert. Twice as much is just great!

$22 at Amazon

Why is this a good offer? 💰

According to our trackers, the Queen Comforter in Classic White is at an all-time low – nearly 50% off. Plus, there are tens of thousands of five-star reviews (in addition to mine) to back it up, so if you’re even thinking about buying it, now would be a good time. Note: Prices vary by color and size (you’ll pay just $22 for the Queen Comforter in Classic White).

Why do I need this? 🤔

Before I get into my personal thoughts on the Bedsure comforter, let’s talk about the basics. It’s designed as an all-season comforter and has a soft polymicrofiber shell with down substitute filling. It has a clever box stitch construction that helps distribute the filling evenly. You want that cloud-like feeling all around!

Since this comforter has loops on the sides, you can use it as a comforter insert. And to make things even more convenient, it’s machine washable and dryer safe. I purchased the white queen comforter, but it’s also available in many other colors and sizes twin to California king.

When I unpacked the Bedsure duvet, I saw that it was a little compressed (as expected). I followed the instructions which said to hand fluff it and let it expand for a day or two. By evening, it was nicely fluffed and felt super soft. So far, so good.

I had recently gotten a new duvet cover and decided to put it in there first. Aside from the usual inconvenience that comes with putting all duvets on, I was happy with the result; the loops aligned with the snaps in the cover and I didn’t notice any creasing once everything was in.

Once that was done, it was time for the sleep test. I laid down in bed, pulled the blanket over me, and immediately felt a level of comfort I’d never felt while sleeping at home. While it’s definitely not as heavy as a weighted blanket, I felt a similar “hug” feeling that calmed me down and made me want to doze off immediately – which I did.

I tend to sleep hot and it’s not uncommon to wake up in the middle of the night wanting to throw all the sheets and blankets off my body. Thankfully the Bedsure duvet has kept me just warm enough without overheating. I’ve been using it for over six months now and I can’t believe what a difference it has made to my sleep. I feel like I’m tucked into a hotel bed every night and even after washing the duvet it has so far retained its marshmallow-like feel.

Now that it Really hot, I took it out of the duvet cover and use it alone. However, it has a large blue label on one corner that I don’t like aesthetically. (I’m sure it can be easily removed.) One more note: the cleaning instructions say to use a front-loading washer and dryer. My washer is a top-loader and I took a chance. I’m happy to report there were no problems, but do so at your own risk!

What reviewers say 💬

I’m not alone in my obsession with the Bedsure duvet. Over 55,000 Amazon customers have given it the perfect five-star rating.

Advantages 👍

“Best sleep in a long time,” wrote one impressed shopper. “Not too thick, not too light. Didn’t wake up feeling too hot either. Slept so well I didn’t hear the alarm and was late for class. … The fluffiness stayed even after the first wash, like a cloud! 10/10, would be late for class again.”

“I’ve been looking for a lightweight comforter that will keep me warm but not too warm, and it feels like it lasts forever,” shared another satisfied sleeper. “My problem is how to prevent a cascade of hot flashes/night sweats. … Well, I’ve found the solution. … I tried it on without a duvet cover and it worked wonderfully. … Last night I put it in a duvet cover, thinking that an extra half a degree would probably put me into the normal cycle, but to my amazement and delight, that wasn’t the case. … Menopausal women: look no further. This comforter is the answer.”

“This one is 10/10!” exclaimed a third. “It’s light but warm…but not too warm…it’s perfect! Just the right amount of fluff to make it look luxurious but not something you sink into and disappear into until next Wednesday.”

Disadvantages 👎

“The only thing I wish was a label that said ‘side/top or bottom,'” admitted one generally satisfied customer. “It would make making the bed easier!” However, he added, “I love the luxurious feel.”

“Looks great in my comforter!” exclaimed one final fan. “I was worried it wouldn’t be thick or warm enough, but it definitely is. … The only thing I wish I could do is add a few more ties. The comforter I bought has plenty of ties and I could see how they would prevent slipping. But personally, I’ve had no issues with it at all.” (Just FYI: I didn’t experience any slipping either.)

Another cult bedding find on Amazon that I love? The best-selling Beckham Hotel Collection bed pillows.

After years of hearing nothing but praise for these pillows, I finally bought a pair to see what all the hype was about. One warning: They come vacuum packed, so when you first see them, you’ll think: These will definitely not be comfortable. But if you give them a few hours, they get wonderfully fluffy. I was impressed by how soft yet supportive they feel, and thanks to their breathable construction, I didn’t wake up with sweaty hair. Now I want to replace every pillow in my house with these.
