Find your summer buddy at the Humane Society of CO; all dog adoption fees are 50% off through July 3

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) — Find your summer companion at the Humane Society of Central Oregon! Meet your new best friend at HSCO and all dog adoptions are half price through Wednesday, July 3.

At HSCO, there are many different dogs waiting to meet you – large, small, purebred and mixed breeds. The staff will help you find the dog or puppy that fits your lifestyle. There are dogs ready for an outdoor adventure or a relaxing day in the yard.

HSCO dog adoptions are offering half price off the regular adoption fee of only $100-$250. Each adopter will have a chance to win two reserved seats at the Decemberists concert at the Hayden Homes Amphitheater on Friday, July 12. All adoptions include spay/neuter, health screening at a local veterinarian, vaccination, microchip ID, collar, ID tag, leash, food and more.

HSCO kennels are at full capacity, so now is a great time to adopt a new furry family member to make room for potential strays who have fled the local fire and the increasing number of dogs afraid of fireworks each year.

The Humane Society of Central Oregon is located south of Reed Market Road on SE 27.th Street in Bend. See who’s waiting to be your summer companion at hsco.org. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
