COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa (KETV) — Make-A-Wish and Camping World have teamed up to surprise a local girl diagnosed with cystic fibrosis.

The two organizations joined forces to donate a pop-top trailer to the family.

The motorhome contained toys and games donated by Camping World employees.

The family said the RV will make traveling much easier.

“With an RV, we can put all her gear there. We can give her a safe place where there aren’t any extra germs and things like that that would pose a greater risk to her. And my whole family lives in Canada, so we go to Canada a lot. So we thought this could be great if we were to visit my family in Canada and have a little place to camp,” said Davina Griffith.

Griffith said Make-A-Wish is a fantastic organization and urged people to donate if they can.
