Among the various AI chatbots and assistants available today, I find Claude particularly impressive in terms of its capabilities and user interaction. While Open AI’s ChatGPT is a prominent player in the AI assistant space, Claude is quickly making a name for itself as a powerful alternative. What I appreciate about Claude is its more natural conversational tone. Essentially, it’s human.
In my experience, Claude avoids the often impersonal customer service chatbot tone that other AI assistants like ChatGPT tend to have, which is a refreshing change. Since playing around with Claude, I’ve been really impressed with its language understanding and intuitive interface. It often seems to anticipate what I need, which I find incredibly helpful – whether I’m working on more complex tasks or exploring its capabilities generally.
For anyone looking for an AI chatbot that offers its users a personalized interaction with optimal efficiency, Claude is definitely the right choice. Let’s take a closer look at what it can do.

Now that we’ve covered the basics, let’s dive into Claude’s additional abilities!
Teach me a new skill

When I asked Claude to Teach me a new skillI was asked to choose from the following options: a practical skill, a creative activity, a technical skill, a language or communication skill, or a physical activity. I chose technical skills.

Claude decided to teach me the basics Python. The instructions were really clear and concise and also included accompanying pictures. There was also the option to move on to a simpler project to practice my newly acquired skills.
Create a song

Enter the idea for your song. I entered the following: Develop a song about self-discovery and embracing one’s true identity, with lyrics that explore the journey of overcoming doubt and celebrating individuality.
Although the lyrics are pretty sweet, Claude’s use of rhymes and metaphors was actually pretty impressive! Much less awkward than I expected.
Imagine being an adventure game where you can choose your own adventure
(Image: © Future)
You can be as general or as specific as you want in this prompt. You could type something simple like: Imagine a choose-your-own-adventure game. Describe the scene and give me four ways to get to the next level.
As a suggestion, I gave specific instructions for the game: Create a “choose your own adventure” story in which the reader can explore an ancient castle, a hidden cave guarded by a dragon, or an enchanted forest filled with magical creatures. At each decision point, offer multiple choices that lead to different outcomes depending on the reader’s selection.

I had a lot of fun playing and found the choices very compelling. Claude did a great job of immersing me as a player, which made the game feel really original.
If you’re a Pro subscriber (since you need more than five generated responses to really get in), you won’t want to miss out.
Tell me a very funny joke
(Image: © Future)
I asked Claude, tell me a very funny joke. The results were interesting. Some of the jokes were actually quite clever and made me smile. Since this is a more humanized AI chatbot, Claude’s answers seemed like typical dad jokes.

Claude also suggested that I could try a joke in a different style of humor. I chose Observational humor with bite. I was really surprised at how well Claude pokes fun at modern society and it really made me laugh.
Practice language learning
(Image: © Future)
If you want to learn a new language and practice speaking, Claude is the right place for you. In the input field I entered “I am a beginner and am trying to learn Spanish. Offering tips for language learning and practice conversations.”
Claude first gave me some basic tips and then asked me if I wanted to practice a conversation.

From a practical perspective, Claude was an excellent teacher. He conversed with me in Spanish, confirmed when I did something right and suggested clear corrections when I did something wrong. He also provided follow-up phrases to deepen the conversation. If you use this along with Duolingo, you’ll be fluent in no time.
Develop a training routine
(Image: © Future)
I wanted to test how well Claude could tailor a training to my needs, so I asked him Develop a routine for someone with RSI in the wrist.
In addition to providing a detailed breakdown of each exercise and set time, Claude also discussed important considerations such as avoiding exercises that place direct stress on the wrist, such as traditional push-ups or hand planks.
Create ASCII art
(Image: © Future)
ASCII art is the process of creating images using only the letters, numbers, and symbols you can type on a keyboard. Imagine trying to draw a smiley face, but you can only use things like colons, hyphens, and parentheses. So the result might be something like this: 🙂
I asked Claude, to create a unique ASCII artwork. First, a truly a simple tree with a triangular crown. When I encouraged him to be more creative, the results improved significantly.

Claude seemed to get the best reactions when they were related to landscapes or objects. He created a ship, a mountain landscape, and an underwater scene. The best by far was the train. I thought the use of “@” and “0” to indicate the dissipating steam was a really nice touch.
