The skin will be very sensitive because you have damaged a layer of skin. You should avoid anything that irritates the skin, like anti-aging or anti-acne products. You should be really gentle, so use a gentle cleanser to restore that barrier.

To avoid sunburn, check the UV index before going outside. A sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher is recommended. Sunscreen should be applied 30 minutes before going outside and every two hours thereafter.
