Jason Kelce is making remarkable progress in his weight loss after retiring from the NFL in March 2024.
In a recent interview with GQ In a post published on Wednesday, June 26, the NFL star shared that he has lost nearly 20 pounds so far. During his professional football career, Kelce, 36, weighed about 295 pounds, but wants to lose even more weight and live a healthier lifestyle as he doesn’t want to “get too skinny.”
He continued to the outlet, “I think a lot of guys, especially offensive linemen, lose too much weight and end up looking like bobbleheads because their neck gets so small but their head stays the same size… For some reason, I feel like at 250 to 260, I’m still big and happy with how I look without having a six-pack. But I’ll still be able to have a little bit of that stature.”

The former Philadelphia Eagles center currently weighs about 277 pounds. He admitted GQ“Honestly, it’s hard to imagine losing nearly another 20 pounds. But my back already feels better. My knees already feel better. So hopefully another 20 pounds will help me play a lot better with my kids.”
Kelce first mentioned his weight loss goals in an April episode of his New heights Podcast with his brother Travis Kelce and guest star Arnold Schwarzenegger. He expressed his enthusiasm for losing weight and mentioned his goal at the time. “My goal is to lose two pounds every week. I want to lose weight but keep my muscle mass,” he explained, emphasizing the importance of meeting his macro goals.
Recently, Jason was spotted with his brother Travis’ girlfriend (pop star Taylor Swift). Epoch Tour at London’s Wembley Stadium. He and his wife Kylie Kelce had a great time in the VIP tent on Friday, June 21, alongside celebs such as Salma Hayek, Tom Cruise and Beatles legend Paul McCartney. For Jason, it was his first time experiencing the tour, which he later raved about on New Heights. He spoke of meeting Prince William and his children, noting that nine-year-old Princess Charlotte was “the highlight” of the evening.
