According to TVLine, all three films are directed by Sam Raimi Spider-Man Feature films are Available to stream on Netflix from July 1stThe trilogy, in which Tobey Maguire plays the role of the eponymous wall climber, began in 2002 with Spider-Manin which the hero faces Willem Dafoe’s Norman Osborn, also known as the Green Goblin. The film was followed in 2004 by the Spider Man 2 and 2007 Spider Man 3.

As part of the surprise release of Moon Knight #0, Marvel also revealed who the next writer of Amazing Spider-Man will be.
In April, Raimi discussed the possibility of a fourth entry in his Spider-Man series, noting that he hasn’t given too much thought to what such a project might look like. Raimi explained, “I haven’t, because I would need to know what the character needs to learn next. I would need to talk to Tobey and the writers and really figure out what his personal development would look like for that installment.” Raimi further explained that every fourth film would depend on where Maguire’s Peter Parker is on a personal level, and that each major villain would be chosen “based on a representation” of the obstacles the character has already faced.
