Time for another inspirational moment with JD. I was out with my mom the other day and she got a little nervous – it was just before sunset. She was at sunset and Alzheimer’s patients are often more irritable at that time.
Anyway, I needed to get my car washed. So we went through the car wash. It’s one of my favorite things to do. It calms me down when I go through the car wash – the water is splashing, the car is idling – hands and feet too. I watch my mom and she slowly falls asleep. Mind you, the car wash takes about 2 minutes. But those 2 minutes calmed her down.
