Davey and the Midnights will be performing at Culture Connection at our new location in Washington Park on June 20th at 7pm.
Davey and the Midnights formed in 2017 in West Los Angeles, California. The group immediately set about establishing themselves as one of the hardest-working Americana bands in the country. Over the next seven years, they toured the United States extensively, performing at venues including Pappy & Harriet’s (CA), The Lonesome Rose (TX), Woodlands Tavern (OH), Bill Monroe’s Bluegrass Park (IN), Southgate House Revival (KY), Empty Glass (WV), and Dee’s Lounge (TN). In the fall of 2023, the band played their first European dates, embarking on a multi-week tour of France and Germany.
The Midnights have shared the stage with artists such as Arlo McKinley, Dale Watson, Nikki Lane, the Cordovas, Cristina Vane, Chris Pierce, Rob Leines, DeeOhGee and the Deltaz. Their emotional, high energy performances are not to be missed.
Lead singer, keyboardist and primary songwriter Davey Allen has also toured as a solo artist and as keyboardist for Rock Hall of Famer Eric Burdon. In addition, he has toured as a member of the San Francisco rock group The Stone Foxes. Davey is involved in many social causes and has previously donated a portion of his album sales to the Dolores Huerta Foundation and the Citizen Potawatomi Nation Cultural Center.
