In Elden Ring: Shadow of the Earth Tree, Messmer Soldier Axe is a new axe-type weapon. It’s a typical axe but has an incredibly high damage stat, dealing 133 physical damage when not upgraded. It weighs 5.5 and has a great moveset. The Messmer Soldier Axe can be upgraded with Forge stones to +25and can benefit from spell or consumable weapon buffs.

Messmer Soldier Axe – Weapon Skill: War Cry

Use a war cry to gather the spirit and increase attack power. While it is active, strong attacks become attack power attacks.

The Messmer Soldier Axe Ashes of War is a warcry that can be modified. The warcry increases the player’s attack power. In addition, it changes the weapon’s attack type and gives the player a little more range.

This weapon skill costs 16 FP and cannot be chained into a follow-up attack. However, the weapon’s powerful attacks are its main form of attack. You can use both of them in succession: one to slam down the axe and the other to use the weapon to perform an uppercut. Combined, these two weapons deal a lot of damage and can stagger many enemies.

Where to find the complete Messmer Soldier set

To get the Messmer Soldier’s Full Set in Shadow of the Earth Treedo you have to Manage the Messmer soldiers scattered across the map. They are the ones who appear in the different camps in the DLC. All of these soldiers have a chance to drop their armor pieces and can also drop the weapon they are currently using.

A good place to farm these soldiers is the Checkpoint of Ensis Castle, place of grace. Once you open the castle gates by following the path to the right, go straight in and kill the enemies in the left room. One of these two uses a spear and might drop the weapon. Then go straight and eliminate the four enemies that appear. Three of them use an axe and might drop that weapon while the other uses the spear.

Use an Arcane build with the Silver Beetle Talisman equipped to maximize item discovery and increase the chance of enemies dropping the items.

If players only need the spear to complete their set, they travel to the Castle Square of Grace. From there, turn around and take out the enemies in the camps around you or those standing on the bridge. Just because they are normal enemies, don’t underestimate them. They are tough and can kill the player in no time.
