In the lower audio classes, Sony may have a few stinkers that rely way too heavily on bass. However, in the premium weight class, you don’t want to mess with them. The Sony WF-1000XM5 gives you incredible sound, built-in Alexa, 24 hours of total playtime with quick charging, IPX4 certification, and arguably the best ANC in earbuds.

Remember Devialet? The company that made the really cool Phantom speaker years ago? It’s a premium brand, so the eye-watering price of the Gemini II earbuds isn’t surprising. You get 22 hours of battery life, ANC, surprisingly loud bass, and very clear sound. And for sure, you’ll get a great fit too, since four ear tips are included in the box.

As expensive as these are, they’re the best budget option on the list. I’ve never seen a charging case for earbuds with a display, but there’s a first time for everything. You can change settings without having to plug in your phone, which is cool. You get a whopping 40 hours of battery life, as well as six (!) microphones for crystal clear mic quality.

The Momentum True Wireless 4 are the top-end earbuds from the renowned audio company. You get Bluetooth 5.4, adaptive ANC, a very business-like design, as well as 30 hours of battery life and quick charging, so you can get an hour of music in 8 minutes. There’s also Auracast, which is nice to see. As expected, the actual audio is balanced and clean.

Bose is at the top of the list if you want fantastic ANC, which can undoubtedly compete with Sony’s products. These have a beautiful design and multiple ear tips for a perfect fit, great call quality, touch controls, fast charging and spectacular sound. But I don’t think anyone expected less from Bose in these areas.

The Jabra Elite 10 Gen 2 is cool. You get Dolby Atmos sound with head tracking, IP57 certification, an impressive 36 hours of battery life, and six microphones for calls. But a highlight is the Smart Case. You can plug it into a USB-C or 3.5mm jack and it instantly serves as a Bluetooth adapter to connect your earbuds.

B&O is another one of those luxury audio brands where everything they make is expensive. That’s the case here. I admit, you get a really nice earbud design (the case is relatively simple), with great sound, ANC, and IP57 certification. The most disappointing aspect, however, is the battery life of just 20 hours with the case.

Audio-Technica has one of the most popular headphones in the world (ATH-M50x), so don’t doubt them when it comes to earbuds. These ones look fantastic at first glance. You also get ANC and transparency mode, as well as a touch sensor on the side. Battery life is poor, however, at just 18.5 hours with the case.
