Half-human swordsman Yosh Ashes is a hard-to-find spirit ash obtained by defeating the major enemy boss, the demihuman swordmaster Onze, a fearsome sword-wielding enemy found on the floor of Belurat Prison.

To reach him, you must first get to Belurat Prison. This is easily done with the help of your torrent. Fast travel to the Greatbridge, north location of GraceLocated above the Three Path Cross Site of Grace. Refer to the picture above for orientation.

Once there, ride your torrent west, through the middle of the lake and into the small cave. There is a dragon sleeping nearby. Avoid waking it up and go around it. Dismount, enter the cave and eventually you will find the Belurat Gaol Site of Grace. Don’t forget to interact with it because your next journey will be dangerous.

Once you are in Belurat Prison, your next task is to find the boss you must defeat to obtain the Spirit Ash.

Continue down into the cave and turn left down the stairs, avoiding the hidden enemy that will attack you from the left. Continue down and jump into the open area below. Cross the bridge in front of you and go through the door. When you enter a room with a few pots, take a few steps forward and look to your right. You should see an opening that you can jump down through. Now continue following the path straight until you reach an area with giant hanging pots. Head to the other side and jump down onto the next hanging pot. Continue down and avoid the chains as these can throw you out of the pots. Be careful as the last pot is an enemy.

When you’re at the bottom, head west, avoiding the enemies, and cross the bridge. At the end, the floor will collapse, throwing you even further down. You should now be in a room with several giant pots. Follow the linear path until you reach an open area, jump across the small gap, and then onto the hanging pot to the southeast. From there, jump down to the pillars, and then onto the floor. A few steps further, you should see a yellow mist, indicating that an enemy is nearby. Head through the mist to encounter the boss Demi-Human Swordmaster Onze. After defeating him, be sure to loot the newly fallen Demi-Human Swordsman Yosh Ashes.
