A Utah couple was apparently found dead in a murder-suicide.

The couple, identified as Olin Johnson, 57, and Kerilyn Johnson, 52, were found dead in their home on June 20, police said, according to Fox 13, ABC 4 and CBS affiliate KUTV.

NBC affiliate KSL reported that police responded to a call from a relative who discovered the bodies.

According to ABC 4, American Fork police believe the deaths appear to be murder and suicide. However, investigators are still waiting for the results of the Utah Office of the Medical Examiner’s investigation before they can make a final decision.

Police believe Olin shot Kerilyn twice before turning the gun on himself. There were no signs of a struggle at the scene.

According to KSL, Olin shot his wife twice and there were no signs of a struggle at the scene, police said.

“At this time, the family requests privacy as they mourn their loss. We extend our deepest and most sincere condolences to the family and friends of Olin and Kerilyn,” police wrote in a statement provided to ABC 4.

The American Fork Police Department did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for further information.

A friend who had known the couple for over 30 years created a GoFundMe page to support the six children following the tragedy.

“The sudden deaths of Olin and Kerilyn Lowe Johnson have left many devastated and they wish to show love and support to their six children as they navigate this tragedy,” the description reads. “It is hoped that (the children) will not have to bear the financial burden of funeral expenses and other unexpected costs in the weeks and months ahead.”

At the time of reporting, $72,864 of the $100,000 fundraising goal had already been raised.

According to Kerilyn’s Facebook page, she was studying at Brigham Young University, where she was working at the time of her death.

According to the site, she had been married to Olin since April 24, 1992.

On Sunday, June 23, a community vigil was held for the couple to protect their children.

“Tonight we just want to show them how many people love them, wish them success and grieve with them. They are not alone,” one attendee told Fox 13.
