Led by Lupita Nyong’o, the cast of A Quiet Place Day One visited the Empire State Building on Monday to promote the horror flick, which hits theaters in the Big Apple this weekend.
The prequel to the fast-growing sci-fi horror series about strange creatures that hunt humans by sound will premiere exclusively in theaters on June 28. Set in New York City, the film follows Sam (played by Nyong’o) and her cat as they try to survive the onset of a doomsday invasion.
Nyong’o, Joseph Quinn, Alex Wolff and Djimon Hounsou found it difficult to remain silent about the release as they climbed to the 86th floor of the Empire State Building’s observation deck to celebrate.
Overlooking the city skyline – which is depicted in the film as the center of an alien invasion – the cast smiled and greeted fans while posing for photos.
