The 2024 NBA Draft begins Wednesday night, and among those eagerly awaiting their names called are several players with local ties.

The team includes former Kentucky men’s basketball stars, most notably guards Reed Sheppard and Rob Dillingham, who returned to the team after just one year, as well as Trentyn Flowers, a former Louisville recruit who abruptly left the program last August to pursue his professional career in Australia.
