Time for an adventure!

Role-playing games are a wonderful way to escape our monotonous lives and immerse ourselves in huge new worlds.

That’s probably why it’s such great news that such a popular RPG is now free to play on Xbox.

We know you probably spend a lot of time in Bandai Namco’s Elden Ring: Shadow of the Earth Tree DLC. However, if you can tear yourself away for a minute, here’s another gem from Bandai.

Check out the trailer for Stories from Arise to see what all the fuss is about

Stories from Arise is a game released in 2021 that features a similar art style to the Persona series in its cutscenes.

“300 years of tyranny. A mysterious mask. Lost pain and memories. Wield the Flaming Sword and join a mysterious, untouchable girl to fight your oppressors. Experience a story of liberation with characters with next-generation graphic expression!”

A world full of new enemies to defeat will keep you busy as you try to navigate the expansive map of this experience.

This highly rated Steam title is described as the closest Bandai has come to “creating a masterpiece.”

For those of you who prefer consoles to PC, you can download the demo for Stories from Arise at the moment.

You can’t play the entire game for free, but you can play a “portion” of it, and it’s more than long enough for you to decide if you like it or not.

Of course, if you have Xbox Game Pass, you can play it from start to finish without spending any extra money. Hooray!

Otherwise, you’ll pay £34.99. But at least you get to try the game before you buy it, which is always a nice little bonus, especially with a game as brilliant as this.

There doesn’t seem to be a time limit for the demo, but to be on the safe side, we’d rather get started sooner rather than later.

Besides, who wants to wait when there’s a great RPG waiting to be played? Fools, that’s the people. Don’t be a fool.
