Find out which roads in Columbiana County may experience delays starting next week

There will soon be a lot of construction going on in Columbiana County.

There will soon be a lot of road construction going on in Columbiana County.

Here are some of the different construction projects that will take place:

  • State Route 14T: This is a chip and seal project and traffic will be reduced to one lane throughout. Completion date is September 30, 2024.
  • State Route 39: The rehabilitation will involve three 4.5-mile closures. Each section will be closed for 60 days, with the final phase scheduled for completion in 2025. More details on the road closures and detours for the project can be found here.
  • State Route 164: Resurfacing of a three-kilometer section from Lee St. in Lisbon to Miller Rd. Traffic will be controlled by flag posts. Completion date is September 30, 2024.
  • State Route 644: Resurfacing of a 7-mile stretch from Summitville to U.S. Route 30. Transportation officials will maintain traffic flow. Completion date is September 30, 2024.
  • State Route 7: The repaving project will begin July 1 and will include a two-mile section from the south end of East Liverpool to Campground Rd. in Wellsville. Southbound traffic and one northbound lane will be maintained throughout. Completion is scheduled for October 31, 2024.
