UFC 303 live updates: results, highlights, odds, how to watch Alex Pereira vs. Jiří Procházka 2

Saturday’s main event may have been spoiled by the littlest piggy, but that doesn’t mean UFC 303 doesn’t still have a lot to offer combat sports fans.

After Conor McGregor broke his pinky toe and the former double champion’s fight against Michael Chandler was canceled, the UFC went into event rescue mode. And while the new headliner for Saturday’s card may not have the stature of the sport’s biggest star returning after nearly three years outside the Octagon, at least there’s a championship belt on the line.

UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira (10-2, 8 KOs) has agreed to a rematch with former champion Jiří Procházka (30-4, 26 KOs) on Saturday (10 p.m. ET, ESPN+ PPV) at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. And so the show goes on. The two already met in the cage in November at UFC 295, when Pereira secured the vacant light heavyweight title with a TKO in the second round.

The co-main event will see crowd favorite Brian Ortega and up-and-coming young fighter Diego Lopes face off in a lightweight bout. The fight was originally scheduled to be contested at featherweight, but was moved to 155 pounds at the last minute after Ortega failed to make the cut to 145 pounds.
