Plot of ‘A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder’: What is it about?

Half a decade after the murder of schoolgirl Andie Bell, Pip Fitz-Amobi sets out to find out her true fate.

Sal Singh, Andie’s boyfriend, confessed to her murder before taking his own life, but Pip doesn’t believe he is responsible and teams up with Sal’s brother Ravi to find out the truth.

“If Sal Singh is not a murderer and the real killer is still out there, how far will they go to keep Pip from the truth?” the official synopsis continues.

The author of the successful novel, Holly Jackson, also revealed that a lot of notes had to be taken on the early scripts of the series in order to keep the show as close to the original as possible for the fans.

Speaking to RadioTimes.com and other media outlets, Jackson said: “I think they weren’t as close to the book as they should have been in the beginning.”

She continued, “So we worked a lot to bring that back because I knew the books are where they are because of the readers, and if we make a show that they’re not happy with, then we’re hurting ourselves.”
