The event is the annual fundraiser for the nonprofit senior services support agency in Sussex County. Proceeds will help expand and diversify a wide range of services and programs that support a healthy and active lifestyle for adults ages 50 and older, and also support their family members and caregivers. Preparing a week of healthy meals for a homebound senior costs $63; $120 for a week of home care assistance for a senior and $40 for a week of transportation for a senior. The total weekly cost to support a senior in their own home with adequate nutrition, a clean living environment and connection to their community is $223.
