Bakar & Lancey Foux land a hit with their new single “Everytime”: Stream

Two English artists present you here a song that could become one of your summer songs thanks to its airy atmosphere and catchy melodies. In addition, Bakar and Lancey Foux have reunited for “Everytime”, continuing their shared history, and this follows the latter’s prolific collaborations with other artists. For the recently released “Daylight”, he worked with Teezo Touchdown and Cash Cobain, while he had already enlisted Cash for the single “Gotta Get U”.

Furthermore, these tracks were a little softer compared to Lancey Foux’s wilder material, and “Everytime” is no exception. Bakar floats over a crisp and bouncy percussion pattern, light guitar chords, sampled vocal runs, and quite resonant kicks towards the end, singing of their romantic concerns with the same tenderness that could be heard on the “In Disguise” singer’s debut studio album. Nobody is at home. In addition, there are also some subtle melodic and percussive variations throughout the song that keep it exciting.

Bakar and Lancey Foux clearly have great chemistry and it’s a privilege to hear them continue to bring out the best in each other. If you haven’t heard “Everytime” yet, you can find it on your favorite streaming service or on YouTube below. You’ll also find a number of notable lines from the track below in case you’re curious, as well as the comments section where you can leave your thoughts on this single. Two can play this game, so I roll the dice,
Ecstasy with your best friend is how I spend my time,

Gabriel Bras Nevares is a music and pop culture news writer for HotNewHipHop. A proud native of San Juan, Puerto Rico, he also stays up to date on the archipelago’s local scene and its greatest musical exponents in reggaetón, salsa, indie and beyond. Before working at HotNewHipHop, Gabriel produced several short documentaries, artist interviews, venue spotlights, and audio podcasts on various genres and music greats. Hardcore punk and go-go music informed much of his coverage during his time at George Washington University in DC. His favorite hip hop artists working today are Tyler, The Creator, Boldy James, JPEGMAFIA, and Earl Sweatshirt.
