Zach Wilson gets engaged to his girlfriend Nicolette Dellanno in Italy

Zach Wilson put a ring on her finger.

The former Jets quarterback, now with the Broncos, is engaged to his girlfriend Nicolette Dellanno, the couple announced on Instagram on Sunday.

Dellanno said “yes” while the couple was vacationing in Italy, geotagging the Amalfi Coast in her post.

“To the love of my life. I never truly understood what love was until I met you. Not only are you my partner, but you are my best friend and my everything,” Wilson, 24, wrote in his post. “I can’t wait to create a lifetime of memories with you Nic❤️I love you.”

In the photos the couple released, Dellanno showed off a huge diamond.

“Zach, you are the best thing that has ever happened to me,” Dellanno wrote in her post. “Every day I admire your strength and am so incredibly proud of you. I am so in love with you and can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together🤍I love you.”

Wilson, who has been sporting a new look with longer hair, and Dellanno were first linked two years ago when they attended a Yankees game together, months after Wilson and his ex-girlfriend Abbey Gile deleted each other from their Instagram pages.

The couple vacationed in Wilson’s native Utah over Memorial Day weekend.

The commitment caps an eventful offseason for Wilson, the player drafted No. 2 by the Jets in the 2021 NFL Draft, whom they traded to Denver in April along with a seventh-round pick for a sixth-round pick.

Wilson was traded after three disappointing seasons with the Jets, the last of which was supposed to be a learning year under Aaron Rodgers until the Packers’ longtime star – and Wilson’s idol – tore his Achilles tendon four games into the season.

Wilson was back in the starting lineup and the Jets went 4-7 in his 11 starts. He finished the year with 2,271 yards, eight touchdowns and seven interceptions.

He finished his time with the Jets with 6,293 yards, 23 touchdowns and 25 interceptions.

Wilson will now try to get his career back on track under Sean Payton while competing with Jarrett Stidham and first-round pick Bo Nix for the Broncos’ starting spot.
