How to get the Duel Shield
There are a handful of new weapon archetypes that are Elden Ring: Shadow of the Earth Tree. The Duel Shield belongs to one such archetype: Impact Shields. Having it equipped allows you to attack and block at the same time. If you have enough stamina to keep going, the shield can destroy most enemies and even some bosses before they can do any damage.

It is equally effective in PvP, dealing huge damage and making you virtually invincible. To find the Dueling Shield, you will need to progress a little bit in the game until you reach the Shadow Fortress.
How to get the Duel Shield
You must go to the Shadow Peace to get the 
Duel Shield . It is one of the legacy dungeons near the north side of Scadu Atlus.
Continue through Shadow Fortress until you reach the ‘.Warehouse, 1st floor‘ Place of grace. While you are here, turn left until you see a staircase upwards.
Once you are up the stairs, Go immediately left until you see another staircase on the right – if you see a fire knight in front of you, you have gone too far.
On the second floor you will see a wooden staircase leading up. As soon as you go up, you will you see a fire knight looking at some large statues floating in the air.
After taking care of the Fire Knight, look for a nearby area (with the statue of an animal above it) that is only Access via a narrow stone path. On the other side you see a corpse that the Duel Shield .
Duel Shield Overview
You only need 15 Strength and 14 Dexterity to carry the Dueling Shield. By default, it has a D-scaling in both strength and dexterity. However, you can also infuse it to change the stat scaling or apply different hit effects. For example, at +25 Heavy Infusion, the Duel Shield gains a B-scale with strength. You need to use forge stones to upgrade it to +25.
It comes with the Weapon Skill: Shield Bashwhich allows you to use it as a weapon. This allows you to benefit from things like the 
Two-handed sword talisman to increase the damage even further.
If you need more damage negation, you can get it with something like
Shield of the Scholar
It is important to remember that
Shields can only be strengthened if they are in the off hand
so be sure to do this before operating it with both hands.
Finally, the Duel Shield can be combined with a spear, but it also does good damage on its own. If you Two-handed it, Holding block, and just perform the light attackyou will do more damage to most enemies in the game, as long as you have enough stamina to continue performing light attacks.
