St. Louis’ Sexyy Red closed out the 2024 BET Awards with her performance on Sunday (June 30) at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. Sexyy took the stage in a red dress like a lounge singer, with a jazz band in the background and dancers to sing the song “U My Everything” sung by Drake.
Then she turned things up a notch, performing her hit “Get It Sexyy” on the steps of a set that resembled the White House. The crowd went wild as she twerked in a white shirt and pinstripe skirt. That’s right: her latest tape We trust Sexyy has made the presidential issue clear.
She will be touring with her show as part of the recently announced Sexyy Red 4 President US Tour, which kicks off in Seattle in August. She plans to visit 26 cities, with the final date being October 1st in Nashville. On September 13th, she will perform live in her hometown of St. Louis. Hunxho, Loe Shimmy and fellow St. Louis native BlakeIANA will be the opening act. Tickets are already on sale and you can find them here.
Sexyy also has her sights set on global domination and will be touring Europe on a festival tour including Wireless Festival, Roskilde and Rolling Loud Europe before returning to the US for her official campaign.
Both of her songs are holding strong on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, with “Get It Sexyy” and “U My Everything” featuring Drake reaching number 38 and 59, respectively.
