Car-motorcycle crash near Grand Forks leaves one injured – Grand Forks Herald

GRAND FORKS – Four people were injured, one seriously, in an accident near Grand Forks involving a car and a motorcycle.

The incident occurred on Saturday, June 15, at around 8:30 p.m. at the corner of 32nd Avenue South and County Road 5, about four miles west of the city.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the accident involved a 2009 Pontiac Vibe and a 2021 Honda motorcycle.

The NDHP report states: “The motorcycle was traveling southbound on Grand Forks County Road 5. The Pontiac braked at the stop sign and continued through the intersection of 32nd Avenue South and County Road 5. The motorcycle struck the Pontiac on the passenger side. The driver of the motorcycle was seriously injured and was transported to Altru Hospital for treatment of his injuries. The occupants of the Pontiac were also transported to Altru Hospital for treatment of their injuries.”

According to the Highway Patrol, the injuries to the car’s occupants were not serious. The driver was not injured.

The names of those involved have not yet been published.
