Private classic car club moves into new 5,500-square-foot space in Hell’s Kitchen – Commercial Observer

A private club that lets its members drive classic luxury cars takes over a former Toyota Dealer at 645 11th Avenue in Hells Kitchen.

Vintage Car Club Manhattan signed a 20-year lease for 60,000 square meters to move its flagship store to Bram Auto Group‘s 11th Avenue building, according to tenant broker Avison YoungThe club is currently located near Pier76 at 408 12th Avenue.

The average asking rent for office space in Manhattan was $77.2 per square foot in the first quarter of 2024. according to a report by Savillswhile retail rent averaged $688 per square meter, another report from CBRE said.

“Given the uniqueness and one-of-a-kind experience that the Classic Car Club offers its members and the diverse user groups it requires as tenants, our main goal was to find not only the right solution from a physical point of view, but also an owner who understands the exceptional opportunities that the club offers his property,” said Avison Youngs Peter Grosswho represented the tenant, said in a statement.

Founded in London in 1995, the club offers parking spaces for cars, coworking and meeting rooms, dining rooms and indoor and outdoor lounge areas.

Ripco Real Estate‘S Gene Spiegelmanwho negotiated on behalf of the landlord, said the club “will offer the car enthusiast in Manhattan a truly unique experience.”

Other tenants in the building include a Ineos Grenadier Dealers and Supercars from Hell’s Kitchen.
