The first two days of the 2024 Rocket Mortgage Classic at Detroit Golf Club are over and two names are tied at the top of the leaderboard. Akshay Bhatia, who won the Valero Texas Open earlier this season, and England’s Aaron Rai, who is seeking his first PGA Tour victory, are both at 13 under par, two shots ahead of an 11 under par field.
Big names in the race include Cameron Young (11 under par, two back), Cam Davis (10 under par, three back), Joel Dahmen (10 under par, three back) and Jake Knapp (9 under par, four back).
However, several notable personalities did not make the cut, including last week’s runner-up, Tom Kim.
