The force is with you: “Acolyte” haters can change “Star Wars”

The Acolyte hasn’t gained any fans in recent updates, especially after Leslye Headland and Kathleen Kennedy’s comments towards the male fanbase. However, there might be a way viewers can finally make their voices heard.

As the saying goes, “If you don’t like the cards you’re dealt, change the cards.” Lately, Lucasfilm has to pay more attention to most of its viewers, but they can still do something about it. In fact, Disney+ has just the right solution.

Like the recent Bluish News, ratings are important and greatly influence what we see on our streaming platforms. If fans really can’t stand what The Acolyte does War of stars, they need to see something different.

Hate The Acolyte? Watch this instead

While I hate war of stars may be trendy these days, but there are other options. A bad show hardly spoils all the fun, and The Acolyte is by far not the only option.

If Disney’s take on the galaxy far, far away has taught us one thing, it’s that the universe is much bigger than the Skywalker saga alone. Although The Acolyte may be the lowest-rated entry in the franchise (13% bad), but Disney+ is still home to some of the highest-rated shows and spin-offs the space opera has to offer.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Anything Dave Filoni is involved in is pretty safe, and Disney+ offered him a perfect place to play with the universe he had created. Although the series only scored 64% with audiences, it gave Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson) her long-awaited solo debut.

With a storyline that focuses on reuniting with Ezra Bridger and battling Grand Admiral Thrawn, this is the closest fans have to a live-action version of Rebels (at least for now). It reunites characters that fans already have a connection to, while also introducing new elements into a familiar setting, which will serve as a template for most spin-offs.

The Mandalorian

What can we say about this Disney+ original that hasn’t already been said? Truly a modern classic in the war of stars Filoni and Favreau’s mix of space western and samurai drama is undoubtedly one of the most frequently watched and rewatched shows on the platform as part of the “The 40 Fingers” franchise.

When Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) rescues young Force user Grogu from the shattered Galactic Empire, adventure and excitement lurk around every corner. Easily garnering an audience rating of over 78%, this chapter of the saga is one we can’t wait to see again when the main cast hits the big screen.

The Book of Boba Fett

Boba Fett (Temura Morrison) has returned from the Sarlacc Pit and taken on the role of Daimyo on Tatooine. Supported by the loyal Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen), he ushers in a new order against the Pike Syndicate and the notorious Cad Bane.

Although this sequel isn’t quite as successful as the previous installment, it’s a must-see for any Mandalorian fan. A 50% rating may not be the best, but it fills in some gaps in the Filoniverse.

Obi Wan Kenobi

If you want to talk about character development, Obi Wan Kenobi showcases the evolution of one of the franchise’s most iconic characters. General Kenobi has one of the most emotionally complex stories in the galaxy, and this series brings it to the forefront.

It’s not just an Obi-Wan spinoff, as Ewan McGregor delivers an impressive and moving performance as he faces demons old and new after being called back into action. An audience rating of 61% is just the tip of the iceberg.

If you don’t like Osha and Mae, take a trip to Tattooine with Obi-Wan. If that’s not your thing either, try the animated series like Clone Wars, Rebels, And The bad batch.

With these options we want to achieve the following: The Acolyte may not be for everyone, war of stars as a whole. There are too many options for one bad apple to spoil the whole basket.
