How does the Wimbledon vote work?

The Wimbledon Ballot is a draw designed to provide fans with the fairest way to purchase tickets to the Wimbledon Championships at the All England Club. Applicants are guaranteed a place in the draw before the first round begins.

Due to high demand for all tickets over the next two weeks, prize draw entrants cannot request tickets for specific days, seats or games. The tickets allocated through the prize draw are all different and will be randomly selected by the computer.

However, the vote for 2024 is already closedbut there are still plenty of opportunities to secure a spot to see some of the world’s best tennis players in London this summer.

Wimbledon 2024: Prices for the queue

Wimbledon is one of the few major sporting events in the world where tickets are still reserved at the box office for purchase on the day of each match, and this will remain a key part of the Championships in 2024.

A flat rate of 500 tickets will be allocated per tournament day for Centre Court, Court No. 1 and Court No. 2 – the three most famous “show courts” at the All England Club.

Fans can also purchase a Grounds Pass, which gives them access to games on the smaller courts during the ticket day. These are expensive because they don’t host as many high-profile games between the tournament’s top players.
